Themes and Projects was conceived
both as a catalogue for an exhibition held
at the Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno in Spain in 2001 and as a stand-alone
volume. Alongside reflections on the body of work past and in progress at the
time of publication, the book contains a photographic essay by Christoph Kicherer
and essays by Kosme de Barañano, Deyan Sudjic, Sam Hecht, Michael Craig-Martin, Phoebe Greenwood, Robert Winder, Katherine Bucknell, Bruce Chatwin and a monk from the monastery of Nový Dvůr.
