Arquus
The name Arquus derives from the
Latin word for an arched or bowed form.
Supported on curved walls, the spare
but sculptural arcs of seat and backrest
are linked by a simple connecting beam,
setting up the chair’s defining structural
dialogue and underscoring its architectural
character. The latest in an ongoing creative
partnership, Arquus draws once more on
Passoni’s expertise in manipulating
curved planes of timber.
