‘What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from.’ TS Eliot
The first designs for a chapel for visitors
to the Abbey of Nový Dvůr were drawn
up two decades ago, with models and
renders used to study the character of
the architecture as a container for light.
With construction of the chapel now
underway, there is something moving in
observing the ingress of sunshine on a
bright autumnal day, exploring the raw
surfaces of the unfinished interior.
