John Pawson

For three and a half decades the distinctive
masses and surfaces of Neuendorf House
have risen from the red earth of Mallorca
more in the manner of a work of land art,
than domestic architecture. Like the
surrounding terrain, the house has no
softness to it. Scale speaks to scale.
The air itself seems to carry an exhilarating
