‘Poetry is the synthesis of hyacinths and biscuits’ Carl Sandburg
In these photographs of LACMA, we are
not tempted to dwell on any single element
in isolation — neither the materials,
the geometry, the surfaces, the light,
the shadows, the views, not even the art.
All is synthesised into a singular, dynamic
composition, which while it is not seamless,
is always harmonious.
