‘Our eyes are constructed to allow us to see forms in light’ Le Corbusier
The past is a place of ghosts and memories. These photographs of an historic manor house, its associated agricultural structures and the surrounding landscape were taken more than a quarter of a century ago, shortly before work began on the creation of what is now the Abbey of Our Lady of Nový Dvůr in the Czech Republic. Studying them now, what resonates most powerfully across the years is the call of the light.
