John Pawson

The Pawson office’s relationship with the Cistercian community of Sept-Fons in Burgundy began when the abbey commissioned a new monastery in the Czech Republic, but over the years has also encompassed work on the French abbey’s historic fabric, as well as the design of this industrial building, completed in 2011, housing storage and full production facilities for the monks’ jam, honey and wheat-based enterprises.
