‘Forms assembled in light’ Le Corbusier
Our eyes are naturally drawn to the more dramatic effects of light in space — to the pattern of light and shade cast by a lamp on ceiling, to the irregular pentagon of diffused sunshine falling across a table, to the golden luminescence that traces curved and vertical lines in a stairwell. Of no less wonder, however, is the category of quiet light that makes space visible — its forms, its surfaces, its junctions and its details.
