‘Each age… must write its own books’ Ralph Waldo Emerson
One of the pleasures of practice is the
opportunity to continue a relationship
with a client and a place, long after the
conclusion of design and construction
narratives. Built from the ground up in
the late 1980s, Neuendorf House was
the studio’s first full architectural
project, developed in partnership with
Claudio Silvestrin, for Hans and Carolina
Neuendorf. Approaching four decades
later, this series of furniture pieces inspired
by the property represents a new chapter
in the collaboration, this time with the
couple’s son, Albert Neuendorf.
