John Pawson

Two storeys high and 66m in diameter,
the Bullring of the Royal Cavalry of Ronda
in Spain is an exercise in graphic repetition
on an heroic scale. The composition
combines reiterative rectilinear beats with
the curved forms of arcades, roof tiles and
