A world of wood
Located on a hiking route in Southern
Jutland in Denmark, The Shelter is a
powerful example of how timber can
be used to create entire environments,
inside and out. Rich in construction detail
and charged with atmosphere, the refuge
was designed and built over a two-week
period in 2020 by architecture students,
during one of Dinesen’s annual creative
summer schools.
