A new composition rising from ancient soil
At the top of one of Jaffa’s winding streets lie the imposing flat — faced stone facades of the monastery of St Joseph, sometime hospital and garrison of Napoleon’s troops. Retained and restored, this building forms a critical component of a project that brings together historic structures and entirely new architecture to create a hotel and apartments in the heart of the old city.
