Steak Knife

The steak knife draws on the same spare
formal language as the other Pawson
cutlery pieces. The design takes contrasting
conditions — curved and straight, matte
and gloss, the handle’s heft and the blade’s
slenderness — and, through a series of
refined junctions, achieves visual harmony.
The rich grain of the dark Macassar
ebony is perfectly balanced by the
characteristic organic patterning of the
bright Damascus steel.
