John Pawson’s second photographic book, Spectrum, comprises a chromatically ordered sequence of 320 images. Alongside its core exploration of colour, Spectrum offers a detailed archive of references for pattern, texture, form and spatial arrangement, drawn from a wide variety of locations. The book reflects the continuing importance of photography as a design tool in Pawson’s daily work.
To coincide with the release of Spectrum, John Pawson will be in conversation with Michael Craig-Martin at the RIBA on 21 November 2017 and with Emilia Terragni at the Design Museum on 28 November 2017
