Preparing to talk about Shiro Kuramata at the Design Museum next month

John Pawson lived and worked in Japan for six years during his late twenties. Moving to Tokyo for his final year, he spent time in the studio of the architect and designer Shiro Kuramata, whose work he had stumbled upon some years earlier in a copy of Domus magazine. On Tuesday 2 July, Pawson will be in conversation with Deyan Sudjic, discussing the impact Kuramata has had on his work and thinking.
